UC Kum: Helping Each Other

Published by hidayat under Report, moment

The theme of UC kum on September 17, 2010 was helping each other, presented by M Amin Samad, a theme that seems simple and very familiar, but often we do not understand the essence of help..

“Wa ta’awanu ‘alal birri wat-taqwa walaa ta’awanu ‘alal ismi wal ‘udwan: and please helping each other in the (only) virtue and piety, and do not please helping each other in sin and enmity (Al-Maidah: 2) ”

In life, we as social beings can not be separated from interaction with other beings, not all things we can do by our selves, must in a certain situation we need other people’s help ..

Often we give each other help easily in equally difficult or equally happy but if the situation turned around, where one position higher than the other, it will reduce to help each other. Need a better understanding of the nature of help ..

When we help others, we basically have planted the seeds of virtue and should not or should not we expect the people we help to someday repay the benefit of us because if we believe God will arrange everything with wonderful moments. Maybe God will reward us from the hands of other people who helped us a very precise when we needed help or in other forms, such as we find things we need very cheap so reduce our budget, and so forth. Scenarios of God is very smooth and can not be followed by human logic. When God commands us to charity, and promised to give more than we spend so rest assured it will happen although it is logically possible does not make sense.

However, in gave the help we must also take into account the risk, lest we become victims instead. As an answer to the question from Andy and yenney about lending money to friends, sometimes even damage the friendship itself. With wisely he explained in giving first aid of our intentions must be absolutely sincere and noble, then should see the credibility of the people we help, then that person needs, whether urgent or not, for example, if the need to finance the treatment, it is advisable to be helped , then our own needs, not until after we lend to others then we also borrow to others, and that is not less important is the contract, it is actually very emphasized in Islam and this paragraph are very long set, including on a par, witnesses and so forth.

Indeed, in terms of helping each other we are still far under by the example of Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated that the Prophet Muhammad, although he did not have the money, if someone trouble and borrow money to him so he would borrow money from his friend to lend that person. His behavior is a great, it is more important legacy for Muslim. At least there are things that we can copy from our master the prophet Muhammad, amen …

Blue Mountains, Here We Came…

Published by hidayat under Report, moment

On March 31, 2010 6:30 am, it seemed a bunch of people with bag packed and carried in the hand gathered at the bus stop Bimbimbie street. A bunch of people would go to the Blue Mountains. Not only UCISS member who followed this trip but it also seemed some people from China and Saudi Arabia. The long-awaited bus finally came and we were getting ready to leave. Let’s go …

Bus that run straight and constant velocity made me sleepy. Faintly audible laughter and chatter of my friends, but still it did not make my eyes open, but when some friends began singing and playing his guitar, suddenly my eyes felt fresh. Abid, Puput, Julie sang a few songs .. and applause with every single song that they delivered ..

Then bus arrived at Echo Point, the first place we visited. But it seemed the weather was not friendly, in addition there was also foggy and light rain that made me, Halim and Amran little trouble finding a place to open our lunch .. but we finally found a place that rep like a cave in the middle of the park. Some friends already seemed narcissistic to take a picture-image. It’s predictable their styles as usual, like Citra and ifa which opened his eyes widely as he tilted face, Indah attached syarif when photographed, and others. But it appeared increasingly thick fog did not allow us to take pictures of three sisters. I do not know why a trio of such kind of reefs is called Three Sisters. Syarif told a little background. It was said that some kind of legend in Australia but then he didn’t continue its story.

the trip then continued to Scenic World. Here we were able to ride Skyway, Cableway and Railway. Me and some friends had chosen to go down by Railway and Cableway for a ride back. It felt a little shaky when train running down the abyss … but it did not last long, just minutes away. Then Erna said “pity money amounting to $ 17 for a few minutes only. Once we took several photos in several interesting objects. Hours are shown at 4 pm when the bus was crawling back to Canberra. But the weather gradually looked friendly , making us curious to go back to echo point. Three sisters who looked pretty has shown..Again we didn’t pass the time without taking some pictures with background of three sisters..At 9:30 pm the bus arrived at Bimbimbie street. Tired and happy looked on the face of the participants and before the participants went home, they did not forget to say to the committee trip, Pungky, syarif, etc who successfully organizing the trip…..See you again in the next trip ..

UC Kum (report)

Published by admin under moment

Berbakti kepada orang tua

Slamet Mulyono dan Ramdah Rajab

ACT (02/03)
(admin)

Ulang Tahun Fauzan (President UCISS) yang ke 28

Published by admin under moment

Picture 1: Potongan kue pertama (dimakan sendiri)

Multicultural Festival (Report)

Published by admin under moment

Tari Serampang dua belas
